Helping alot by White Trash on Jan 14, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Working after a few days my knees and hips feel better and my hands and knuckles don't get so stiff*

A Solid Turmeric Formula by David Bennett on Jan 14, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Turmeric has been shown to have strong anti-inflammatory properties. It may help prevent Alzheimer's disease and even have anti-cancer properties.

This is a good turmeric supplement for a few reasons. For one, it contains 200 mg of standardized extract. It also contains regular turmeric powder. Most experts recommend standardized extract to guarantee you are getting a lot of the active ingredients in turmeric (curcuminoids). However, other research has shown that turmeric powder has its own benefits. This formula contains both.

This product also has black pepper extract, which has been shown to increase the absorption of curcuminoids by 2,000%.

So, this seems like a good turmeric formula. I have no idea about the history of the manufacturer, but their website claims extensive purity testing.*

good turmeric by ????TosaTat???? on Jan 12, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

The capsules are easy to swallow. This bottle contains 60 servings. You take one capsule a day but could take more if needed. Taking these is like eating a ton of Indian food. I like that these contain BioPerine (pepper) which assists int he absorption of the turmeric. Really good for inflammation.*

Natural Pain Relief by Antoinette on Jan 11, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Turmeric is a multipurpose healing food. It's packed with antioxidants and is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It works well for chronic pain like that associated with arthritis and neurological diseases. This formulation has a higher absorption rate than some others. This supplement also works to lighten a heavy flow if you're a female. Like all natural remedies, it won't work immediately. Give it time and you're likely to be satisfied with the results.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review. I hope the information that I've provided makes your decision a little easier.*

One capsule does it by teeinep on Jan 5, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Good results for joint pain, I use it for pain in my hands and feet. I only take one capsule daily and it does the job.*

Easy to take, good dosage for daily use by Wired Rabbit on Feb 11, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

These are easy to take capsules of Turmeric Curcumin. The odor is minimal, unlike other Turmeric supplements I have taken. The capsules go down with minimal/no flavor. The bottle holds 60 capsules and has added "BioPerine" or black pepper extract added for faster absorption. The lid has a peel off tab on it that has an offer for a free coupon if you buy directly from the manufacturer. For the price, it's okay. Not easy to tell if it has truly helped with my knee pain at this point, but I just started taking this last week.*

great at fighting inflammation by Cindy Cowles on Feb 4, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

I take turmeric mostly for its inflammation fighting abilities. This one seems to be doing pretty good, too. It also helps my joints. I don't hurt as much when I take it. I like that they aren't huge and are easy to swallow, too.*

Works Better On My Knee Pain Than Glucosamine Chondroitin by Ladyfingers on Feb 1, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

So many people take glucosamine chondroitin for their knee pain, but it just doesn't work for me. I have better success using two other supplements--boswellia and turmeric. I like this LES Labs formula--it contains both turmeric root and powder, and includes pepper for better absorption. Taking these two supplements as well as sticking to a healthy diet has kept my knee pain to a minimum. I also like that only one capsule is needed per day for an adequate dose of turmeric. To me this is a more natural alternative than over the counter medication, and in my case, it's more effective too.*

Made in the USA, Seems Credible by Just My Op on Jan 30, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Does turmeric help with my inflammation? I really don't know, but I've read several studies indicating that it might, and I have a medical condition that increases inflammation, so I've been taking turmeric for awhile now. I like that these capsules are vegetarian, come with pepper for better absorption, and list the amount of curcumin, the helpful ingredient, in their capsules. And I really like that these are manufactured and testing in the US. These are easy to swallow, and I've been given an okay by my specialist to take these. It's hard for someone taking supplements to really weed out the good from the bad, but I greatly prefer ones made in the US in certified factories. This one seems to be working for me.*

Great Benefits Overall! by Charlotte on Jan 29, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

My husband works out regularly and sometimes overworks his muscles. He takes this supplement regularly, which gives him relief so that he can sleep and relax, which is also important in muscle recovery.

He has also mentioned how important taking this supplement continues to be as we grow older in order to help maintain a healthy heart and reduce inflammation.*

Ok value, comparable MG to other supplements, non-gmo & vegetarian capsules by Mother Nature on Jan 12, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Pretty good quality turmeric curcumin supplement. I usually go for one that is organic but at least this is non-GMO. I'm happy that this is a vegetarian capsule (does not contain gelatin) and contains basically no other ingredients/fillers. The mg is very comparable to other products out there but the directions only tell you to take one and most other supplements with the same mg tell you to take two. I take one in the morning and one at night so this would only be a 30 day supply for me. These are a very vibrant orange, more than usual I feel like, not sure why, not really concerned but just a thought I had. They are also ok to take on an empty stomach and do not cause any discomfort, aftertastes or burps. The value is just ok to me for the quality and price ($20)*

Could be better by ???? FilipinaMacBarbie ???? on Feb 29, 2020 (Verified Purchase)

Before even opening this product, I was pleasantly surprised to find a “buy one, get one free” coupon offer on the lid of the bottle. Before I break down the contents of the product, let me say that I have experienced a reduction in general inflammation since I began taking it. Aside from a nagging shoulder pain that recently resulted from weight training, my aches and pains have been less significant. That said, the formulation of this product leaves me wondering if I could get even more benefit from a product that’s comprised entirely of an extract. You see, this particular supplement is mostly Turmeric Root Powder (500 mg). This might sound great until you do some research and realize that the root actually has the lowest content of circuminoids, which is the compound responsible for the benefits on turmeric. That said, the product does also contain 200 mg of Turmeric Root Extract at 95% total circuminoids. Collectively, that’s 700 mg of Turmeric, with less than a third of it being an extract. Also, there is only 5 mg of BioPerine (synonymous with Piperine) included in this product to increase absorption of the circuminoids. Why is all of this important? Examine.com provides the researched dosage in the following statement:

“To supplement curcumin with piperine, take 500 mg of the former with 20 mg of the latter, thrice a day (i.e., 1,500 mg of curcumin and 60 mg of piperine per day).”

As you can see, a single dose of this supplement falls significantly shy of the recommendation for both piperine and curcumin. If you’re seeking a curcumin supplement, I’d recommend looking for something that is comprised entirely of a general circumin extract or one of the proprietary extracts, like Meriva or BCM-95.*
